CEO/Principal
Tony Fitzgerald joined Mater Dei in 2010 after over 25 years experience in main stream schools in various leadership roles. Tony holds a Masters Degree in Education, as well as undergraduate degrees in Economics and Religious Education.

Ms Samantha Giles
Assistant Principal
Sam commenced at Mater Dei as the Secondary Coordinator in 2010 and was appointed as Assistant Principal in 2011. Prior to joining Mater Dei she spent 11 years teaching at mainstream schools and has held various middle leader positions for 7 of those years. Sam has an Honours Degree in Science, a Diploma of Education (Secondary) and a Graduate Certificate in Special Education. She plans to recommence her Masters in Educational Leadership in the near future.

Mrs Rebecca Gibbs
Primary Coordinator
Rebecca commenced her role as Primary Coordinator in 2010. Prior to commencing at Mater Dei in 2008 she had spent 10 years teaching in mainstream schools. Rebecca has a Masters Degree in Teaching (Special Education) and a Bachelor of Education (Primary) Degree. She also has a Certificate in Religious Education.
