BUILDING FUND
Voluntary contributions of $ 70.00 per term ($280.00 annually) to the school building fund help ensure the high quality of programs offered at Mater Dei. These contributions are receipted separately and are fully tax deductible.

RESIDENTIAL
All parents/carers of students 16 years and under must apply for the Assistance for Isolated Children (AIC) from CENTRELINK. We request that this payment be directed to the Mater Dei towards payments of residential fees. This amount is assessed by CENTRELINK and is generally payable on a term basis. Payments are only made for students who participate in residence for two or more nights. New applications must be submitted each year and are to be forwarded prior to the March 31. If parents/carers are already in receipt of the Child Disability Allowance this payment may change. Students over 16 years of age are eligible for either the Disability Support Pension (DSP) or Austudy and if on the pension, are also entitled to the Education Supplement Allowance of approximately $30.00 per week. This should be applied for through CENTRELINK. Students who are in receipt of the Disability Support Pension/Austudy are encouraged to pay their contributions each fortnight to assist them in their budgeting experience and independent living skills training.
