The Mater Dei Great Pigeon Race
The Second Mater Dei Great Pigeon Race will be held on Sunday August 22, 2010.
Co-sponsored by Southern Racing Pigeon Federation Inc., Central Cumberland Racing Pigeon Racing Federation and the Australian Pigeon Racing Association, pigeons will fly from Cootamundra (NSW) to their home.

Sponsors are invited to sponsor a team of 5 birds for $250. For those who want to form a syndicate, this will comprise 5 members @ $50.Click here to sponsor a team. You can choose which flyer you want to represent you or if you are happy to be assigned a flyer, leave this option blank. Once your sponsorship form has been received, the organizers will be in contact with you to arrange your "flyer" and let you know other details relating to:
• "Basketing Night" which will be held at various venues on Saturday August 21. Here you will be able to meet your pigeon/s and
• "Result Night" which will be held at Cabramatta Golf Club on Sunday August 22, when results will be announced. Wear your favourite feather boa!!!
Prizes
If you are the lucky sponsor of the winning pigeon, you can win one of the following prizes:• Printing package for your business to the value of $5,000. Donated by Impress Colour, Wetherill Park.
• Advertising package to the value of $4,675. Donated by C91.3FM.
• Sydney weekend away. 1 night accommodation for 2 people to a 4 star hotel in Sydney CBD. Includes 2 tickets to a show and use of a luxury vehicle for the weekend. Valued at $600. Donated by Mater Dei and Paul Wakeling Motor Group.
• $500 voucher from Camden Hire. Donated by Camden Hire.
• $250 cash prize. Donated by Regans Accountants.
