Mr Tony Fitzgerald
CEO/Principal
Tony Fitzgerald joined Mater Dei in 2010 after over 25 years experience in main stream schools in various leadership roles. Tony holds a Masters Degree in Education, as well as undergraduate degrees in Economics and Religious Education.



Mrs Debbie Gates
Manager, Development Program
Debbie joined Mater Dei in 1998 and established the Development Program. She has qualifications in Economics and Fundraising. She has held marketing and market research positions with companies like BHP and Nestle. Amongst other interesting experiences, she has also been a teacher of maths and commerce to secondary students in Zambia, Africa.




Ms Samantha Giles
Assistant Principal
Sam commenced at Mater Dei as Secondary Coordinator in 2010 and was apointed as Assistant Principal in 2011. Prior to joining Mater Dei she spent 11 years teaching at mainstream schools and has held various middle leader positions for 7 of those years. Sam has an Honours Degree in Science, a Diploma of Education (Secondary) and a Graduate Certificate in Special Education. She plans to recommence her Masters in Educational Leadership in the near future.

Mrs Pamela Templeton
Director of Services
Mater Early Intervention Program & Mater Dei Living Skills Program
Pamela began teaching in 1970 as an Infants teacher and has taught in NSW, the Commonwealth, Queensland and Northern Territory public and Systemic Catholic education sectors. She is accredited with the Teachers Certificate, Bachelor of Education, Graduate Diploma in Arts (Leadership and Religious Education), Graduate Certificate in Special Education and is currently undertaking studies for a Masters in Inclusive Education in Autism. Pamela has taught at Mater Dei since 1995 and was appointed Assistant Principal in 1998. Pamela commenced as Director of Services in 2011.
