Celebrating 100 Years of Good Sams in Camden
22 August, 2010
The Good Samaritan Sisters first came to Camden in 1910 and the following year they brought the children from their Orphanage in Manly to enjoy the healthier 'country' life.
On Sunday 22 August the Sisters who live and minister on the Mater Dei Camden property will celebrate this anniversary with a prayer service at 2.30pm followed by afternoon tea and a tour of Wivenhoe, the Chapel and Mater Dei School (part of which was the Orphanage) and the works in progress towards the new Mater Dei School.
If anyone would like to join us on 22 August, please register your interest by telephoning the school reception on (02) 4655.7481 or by email.
